Discussion #4 texting
I won’t
deny it; texting is actually a big thing in my life. I’m not saying that I am
addicted to it, but a text is just much more reliable than a call. If the
person doesn’t answer a call you have to leave a dreadful voicemail, which I
find quite awkward. Texting just seems simpler and much more convenient,
especially when I am in a hurry and need to let someone know something without
having to be rude and not making it seem like you don’t want to talk to the
person. Businesses are now sending text messages reminding people about their
dentist appointments, doctor appointments, and even tax return information.
That being said business know that most of today’s adolescence and population
in general prefer a text message as a reminder instead of a call, because
people are always on the go. But that does not mean people should be texting
and driving, texting and driving is an extremely dangerous thing to do. Texting
and driving cause’s way too many accidents and people’s lives are lost just
because people didn’t just wait a couple of minutes to either respond or read a
message. With that being said don’t text and drive!!
